Meetings

Meetings are held the fourth Monday of each month (except May and December) in the Marion County Genealogical & Historical Society room or the May Davenport room of the

Bryan-Bennett Library in Salem, Illinois.

Meeting time:  6:00 p.m.

Location:  315 South Maple Street
                  Salem, Illinois 62881

Library hours:  Monday - Thursday 10:00-7:00

                          Friday & Saturday 9:00-2:00

                          Sunday  closed

                         Become a member

                                    Print our membership form and send it to us
                                    with your dues check and we'll send your
                                    membership card and quarterly magazines
                                    right away.

* The archives room is open to researchers and staffed by volunteers on Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Researchers can also gain access to the Archives/Genealogy Room by appointment - email questions_mcghs@yahoo.com, call the library, or call the Archives/Genealogy Room on Wednesdays during open hours. ​
